Kremmling is the perfect base for anyone who wants to explore Colorado's outdoors by ATV.
Riders will be delighted to find hundreds of miles of trails for all levels in the area, stretching across acres of scenic land. The area's trails pass by Muddy and Antelope Creeks and under the towering Wolford and Red Mountains.
Avid fishermen can stop by Wolford Reservoir to play, and visitors should be on the look out for the herds of elk, antelope and deer that call the area home.(Riders should pay attention to rules and posted signs, though; some trail sections are closed in the spring to allow for the Greater Sage Grouse's breeding period.)
And when riders are finished for the day, plenty of restaurants, shopping and lodging can be found in Kremmling, an old mining town filled with charm.
